April to October is the dry season and the easiest time to travel. The wet season, November to March, is greener and quieter, withshort, heavy afternoon showers rather than all-day rain.
Visit the famous temples and terraces at sunrise. By mid-morning the crowds arrive. The first light is when Bali feels like the place you imagined.
